Note To Self: It Ain’t That Serious

For when you’re overthinking social media:

I know it can get discouraging – being an artist in this saturated era. How exhausting it is to always feel the pressure to create, share, and have something new to show. But you cracked the code a long ass time ago, please don’t forget. Social media is only as important as you make it. Don’t let likes, engagement, and numbers get to your head. That’s not what you do it for. Stay focused.

It’s okay to feel creative burn out. It’ll happen. Don’t force inspiration, it’ll come eventually. It doesn’t matter if you get 100 likes or 10 – you’re confident in your own shit and know that it will reach who it’s supposed to. Your intended audience will find you.

Change with the times, but don’t lose yourself in the process. You’re not desperate to be seen.

Note to self – Social media ain’t that serious.
